Safety & Risk Prevention Specialist

As a Safety & Risk Prevention Specialist at Desigual POS, you will evaluate and analyze work environments, implementing prevention programs and Health & Safety procedures to ensure safe working conditions. Your role involves preventing occupational risks, ensuring compliance with legislation and security policies, managing asset loss through fraud detection, and process monitoring.

  1. Main Responsibilities :
    • Plan and perform workplace risk assessments.
    • Develop and implement self-protection and emergency plans.
    • Investigate labor accidents and apply corrective measures.
    • Training: Define and coordinate training on occupational risk prevention (Safety, Hygiene, Ergonomics, Emergency), ensuring legal compliance.
    • Coordination with Partners: Coordinate with External Prevention Services.
    • Supervise cases of workplace violence and ensure appropriate actions.
    • Audits & Support: Conduct audits at international POS locations, ensure compliance, and provide support on prevention matters.
    • Facilities Supervision: Ensure safety systems function correctly and request maintenance when needed.
    • Security Awareness: Conduct audits and training to promote safety awareness and policy compliance.
  2. Qualifications:
    • Degree in labour relations, work sciences, law, engineering, or equivalent.
    • LRP master (safety at work, industrial hygiene, psycho-sociology, ergonomics).
    • Knowledge of safety & prevention legislation and security industry background.
    • Core competences: teamwork, adaptability, continuous learning.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Languages: Fluent English and Spanish.
    • Travel: 10% for short and long distances.
