As a Safety & Risk Prevention specialist, you will evaluate and analyze work environments, implementing prevention programs and Health & Safety procedures to ensure safe working conditions at Desigual POS. You will prevent occupational risks and ensure compliance with legislation and Desigual’s security policies to protect people, facilities, and company assets. You will also manage asset loss through fraud cases and process monitoring.
Main Responsibilities :
- Plan and perform workplace risk assessments.
- Develop and implement self-protection and emergency plans.
- Investigate labor accidents and apply corrective measures.
- Coordinate and deliver training on occupational risk prevention (Safety, Hygiene, Ergonomics, Emergency) and ensure legal compliance.
- Coordinate with external prevention services and supervise cases of workplace violence, ensuring appropriate actions.
- Visit international POS to conduct audits and ensure compliance with legislation and internal standards.
- Provide daily support on prevention matters (EPIs, first aid kits, inspections, etc.) and track orders for contracted prevention services.
- Ensure safety systems (CCTV, anti-theft, etc.) function correctly and coordinate maintenance.
- Conduct audits and training to promote safety awareness and policy compliance.
What we are looking for:
- A degree in labour relations, work sciences, law, engineering, or equivalent.
- LRP master’s in safety at work, industrial hygiene, psycho-sociology, or ergonomics.
- Specific knowledge of safety & prevention legislation and security industry background.
- Core competencies: teamwork, adaptability, and continuous learning.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%, including short and long distances.
