Formación

From Mur&Partners, we are offering a position as Safety Engineer for a leading multinational company in its sector.

Mission

The mission of this role is to support and ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) regulations in the industrial environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of safety and sustainability standards in processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) strategy and objectives for the area of responsibility, using appropriate reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with relevant functions to develop and implement standards and procedures.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in all relevant SHE areas.
  • Manage the review and renewal of legal permits, licenses, and other SHE-related documents.
  • Prepare the required monthly / quarterly reports, such as site sustainability metrics, man-hour reporting, and monthly SHEQ KPI status.
  • Investigate and analyze root causes of incidents, assist in developing corrective actions, and document the results in Henkel's reporting system.
  • Develop and deliver SHE training for all stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and support workplace risk assessments for responsible sites.
  • Ensure coordination of contingency plans.
  • Discontinue any activity or process that does not meet minimum safety requirements or involves any unsafe condition or behavior.
  • Provide on-site support during EH&S (Environment, Health, and Safety) audits.

Requirements

  • Engineer with knowledge in Process Safety or a degree / masters in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL).
  • Advanced English level (C1) is essential.
  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial environments, preferably in the chemical sector, and in Process Safety.
