Job summary

Accenture España is seeking Finance Strategy & Transformation Consultants to join the Finance Reinvention Partner practice within Strategy & Consulting in Madrid. You will work with CFOs and executives to define future finance operating models, value creation and transformation roadmaps.

The role combines strategy, finance, data, technology and AI capabilities, offering exposure to high-impact engagements across Spain and globally in a hybrid Madrid-based environment.

Qualifications

• Four plus years in strategy consulting, management consulting, financial advisory, Big 4, or related environments.
• Exposure to finance strategy, operating model design, finance process transformation, or large-scale programs.
• Experience with ERP/EPM/Cloud/Analytics/automation or AI is valued.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Define finance and enterprise value strategies aligned with corporate priorities.
• Diagnose Finance function performance, cost optimization, working capital, and capital efficiency.
• Design end-to-end target finance operating models including governance and processes.
• Redesign core finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, treasury, tax, controlling) for value creation and standardization.
• Identify opportunities to digitalize finance using ERP, Cloud, analytics, AI, GenAI.

Strategy & Consulting Finance Transformation Consultant - CFO & Enterprise Value

We are looking for Finance Strategy & Transformation Consultants to join our Finance Reinvention Partner practice within Strategy & Consulting, working at the intersection of finance strategy, value creation, operating model transformation, and digital enablement.

You will work with CFOs and executive leadership teams of leading organizations in Spain and internationally to address their most relevant priorities. These range from defining the future vision and operating model of the Finance function to identifying value creation opportunities, shaping transformation roadmaps, and supporting their implementation.

The role is suited for experienced consultants looking to deepen their expertise in the CFO agenda, combining strategic thinking, finance transformation, data, technology, and emerging AI capabilities.

What you will do:

• Support the definition of finance and enterprise value strategies aligned with overall corporate priorities.
• Conduct strategic and operational diagnostics of the Finance function, identifying opportunities across performance management, cost optimization, growth, working capital, and capital efficiency.
• Design end-to-end target finance operating models covering organization, governance, capabilities, processes, sourcing, data, and technology.
• Assess and redesign core finance processes, including R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, treasury, tax, and controlling, with a focus on simplification, standardization, and value creation.
• Identify opportunities to digitalize and automate the Finance function through ERP, EPM, Cloud, advanced analytics, AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Develop analytical models, insights, business cases, and clear strategic narratives to support decision making and investment prioritization.
• Define transformation roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives according to value, impact, feasibility, dependencies, and implementation requirements.
• Support the delivery of finance transformation programs that combine strategy, technology, data, processes, organization, and people.
• Collaborate with CFOs, executive teams, and multidisciplinary Accenture teams to translate strategic ambition into measurable outcomes.
• Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and internal initiatives related to the future of finance, enterprise value, and AI-enabled transformation.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, financial advisory, Big 4, corporate strategy, finance transformation, or similar environments.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: finance strategy, operating model design, finance process transformation, performance management, value creation, or large-scale transformation programs.
• Exposure to finance platforms and technologies such as ERP, EPM, Cloud, Analytics, automation, or AI is highly valued.
• Experience or strong interest in Generative AI and Agentic AI applications within the finance domain.
• Ability to structure complex problems, perform rigorous analysis, develop business cases, and build clear, compelling narratives.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and work effectively in multidisciplinary, fast-paced teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project delivery skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
