Vèringer Engineering seeks a Rotating Equipment Engineer to lead technical execution and delivery of rotating equipment projects from specs to vendor follow-up and site delivery.

The role includes supporting procurement activities, vendor management, expediting, quality surveillance and inspection for assigned equipment packages, while ensuring alignment with project targets and budgets.

Formación

• Engineering degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design, specification and execution of projects in energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, turbines).
• Good knowledge of API, ISO and international industry standards for rotating equipment.
• Experience in vendor management, technical bid evaluations, package engineering and inspection follow-up.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2+); French or Italian is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare technical specifications, requisitions, CNs, stress reports and other engineering deliverables with other disciplines.
• Ensure contractors meet contractual technical specifications with suppliers and external parties.
• Maintain communication with bidders and vendors and perform technical follow-up of orders.
• Carry out technical and procurement activities for assigned equipment, including evaluations, vendor management, expediting, quality surveillance and inspection support.
• Ensure compliance with project targets for technical robustness, budget and schedule.
• Propose cost, schedule and energy-saving alternatives aligned with project targets.
• Report activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.
• Meet project quality and HSE objectives.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Proposals, Expediting and Inspection teams.
• For small requisitions, own the technical/contractual scope, expediting and inspection.
• Participate in special applications and skid-mounted or modular rotating equipment packages.

We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer to be responsible for the technical execution and delivery of rotating equipment engineering activities, from specifications and technical evaluations through vendor follow-up and site delivery.

The role will also support procurement-related activities for assigned equipment packages, including vendor management, expediting, quality surveillance, and inspection support.

Work Modality:

Hybrid work model - 3 days remote and 2 days on-site, with flexible working hours.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical specifications, requisitions, CN, stress reports and other engineering deliverables, in coordination with other disciplines.
• Ensure contractual technical specifications are met by suppliers and external parties.
• Maintain communication with bidders and vendors and perform the technical follow-up of orders.
• Carry out technical and procurement-related activities for assigned equipment packages, including technical evaluations, vendor management, expediting, quality surveillance and inspection support.
• Ensure compliance with project targets and priorities regarding technical robustness, budget and schedule.
• Propose alternatives for cost, schedule and energy savings in line with project targets.
• Report engineering and requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.
• Meet project quality and HSE objectives.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project functions, including Procurement, Planning, Proposals, Expediting and Inspection.
• For small requisitions or standard equipment, take responsibility for the technical and contractual scope, expediting and inspection of the assigned requisition.
• Participate in special applications and skid-mounted/modularized rotating equipment packages.

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the design, specification and execution of projects within conventional energy and/or new energy sectors, ideally with an EPC contractor, rotating equipment manufacturer or engineering company.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines and associated auxiliary systems.
• Good knowledge of API, ISO and international industry standards related to rotating equipment.
• Experience in vendor management, technical bid evaluations, package engineering and inspection follow-up.
• Fluency in English, minimum B2+ level. The interview will be conducted in English.
• Knowledge of French and/or Italian.
