Job summary

Helsing is seeking engineers to build production-grade ROS2 software for autonomous robots operating in real-world environments. You will design, implement, and deploy high-performance architectures and control software on custom hardware, ensuring low latency, robust sensor integration, and reliable mechatronics performance.

Qualifications

• Built and shipped production ROS2 systems in modern C++.
• Experience debugging and optimising complex multi-node robotic architectures.
• Strong Linux development and debugging skills.
• Experience with real-world deployments and HIL testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test ROS2 architecture and C++ modules for autonomous robots.
• Integrate sensors and actuators with the software stack and hardware.
• Develop diagnostic tooling and failure-analysis pipelines to catch issues early.
• Validate control logic with simulators MuJoCo and Isaac Sim and HIL testing.
• Package software for edge compute hardware with CI/CD pipelines.
