Bystronic is seeking a Robotics & Automation Engineer to design software for robotic and PLC-driven systems, and to contribute to a high-performance real-time control environment.

You will collaborate with 3D simulation, HMI, and backend teams, participate in architecture discussions, and advance engineering quality in agile projects. The role emphasizes ownership, learning, and impact in industrial manufacturing.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Automation, Robotics, or related field.
• Strong experience in real-time systems, robotics, or industrial automation.
• Proficient programming in PLC systems and robotic controllers.
• Familiarity with C#, WPF, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Team spirit, ownership and willingness to continuously learn.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and implementing software solutions for robotic and PLC-driven systems.
• Contributing to the development of a high-performance, real-time control environment.
• Working closely with 3D simulation, HMI, and backend services teams.
• Participating in technical discussions, architectural decisions, and hands-on coding.
• Supporting agile rituals and driving engineering quality, maintainability, and collaboration.
• Participate in technical discussions around architecture, implementation, performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering and domain experts to deliver real impact for our customers.
