North Point Technology is seeking an experienced MES Controls Engineer to support high-volume manufacturing operations. The role focuses on MES, PLC integration, real-time production execution, and ensuring automation system reliability across engineering, operations, and production teams.

The candidate will drive MES-driven processes, configure MES-PLC communications, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI issues to improve throughput and data integrity.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with PLCs (Rockwell/Siemens) and HMI; strong diagnostic skills.
• Experience supporting manufacturing automation and industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of plant-floor networking and data communication protocols.
• Ability to analyze complex production and system integration issues.

Responsabilidades

• Support MES-to-PLC integrations during system launches, ramp-ups, and ongoing operations.
• Configure and maintain communications between MES and PLC systems.
• Integrate MES template routines into PLC programs.
• Create and maintain PLC tags and logic to support MES transactions and reporting.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers to ensure MES integration success.
• Document MES-related PLC changes, troubleshooting, and production support.
