ABB is hiring a Robotic Applications Engineer for the Robotic Systems team, based in Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) with a hybrid work model and collaboration with Zurich. You will connect product development with real-world deployments, work hands-on with robotic platforms, and help ensure successful field implementations.

The role requires 3+ years in robotics, strong Python and ROS/ROS2 skills, Linux expertise, and knowledge of localization/mapping/navigation or AMRs.

Formación

• 3+ years of robotics or related field experience.
• Strong Python and ROS/ROS2 development experience.
• Experience with Linux-based systems and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with localization, mapping, navigation, perception, or AMRs.

Responsabilidades

• Bridge between product development and deployments.
• Develop and validate new features on robotic platforms.
• Investigate field issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical guidance during integration, commissioning and operation.
