ABB Sevensense seeks a Robotic Applications Engineer to bridge product development and real deployments across Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) and Zurich. You will diagnose field issues, improve performance, validate new features, and collaborate with project, support, and R&D teams to ensure customer success.

You will work hands-on with robotic platforms, develop tools, and analyze field feedback to drive product evolution, with 3+ years of robotics experience and strong Python/ROS skills.

Formación

• 3+ years of industrial experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or related fields.
• Strong Python software engineering and debugging skills.
• Experience with Linux-based systems and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with localization, mapping, navigation, perception, or AMRs.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2.
• Proven ability to perform root-cause analysis and drive resolution across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, project, and customer-facing teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert technical guidance during integration, commissioning and operation of deployed systems.
• Investigate field issues and perform root-cause analysis with R&D to deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop tools and software adaptations to improve diagnostics and integration.
• Collect and analyze field feedback to identify product gaps and drive development.
• Work hands-on with robotic platforms to validate features and verify fixes.
• Collaborate across project, support and customer-facing teams to ensure customer success.
