AECOM is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer in Madrid to work on a range of exciting projects within the Linear Infrastructures team. The role involves independent design work, project deliverables preparation, and providing guidance to entry-level engineers. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in geometric design, relevant software skills, and the ability to work within budgets and schedules, contributing to both independent and multidisciplinary project teams.
We are currently recruiting a Roadway Design Engineer with experience in roadway geometric design to be based in the Spain Enterprise Capabilities Office in Madrid. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement incorporating a combination of both in-office and remote working schedules as outlined below.
The selected candidate will join our ambitious and experienced Linear Infrastructures team. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects either as standalone roadway team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors.
Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs for many years throughout the USA and Australia not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects being part of a diverse and multicultural team for the Europe Enterprise Capabilities Center (Poland / Spain).
