Job summary

American Express in Spain seeks an Analyst for Reporting, Testing & Monitoring within the Spain CRO to strengthen second-line assurance across risk pillars. You will establish testing capabilities, coordinate remediation, and report results to senior management and governance committees.

Fluency in English is required, and you will interact with regulators while aligning testing activities with enterprise risk assessments.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in risk management or a similar role.
Fluency in English (verbal and written).
Experience interacting with regulators and familiarity with Spain/Europe regulatory landscape.
Degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field; FRM/CFA is valued.

Responsibilities

Maintain the Legal Entity Reporting and annual risk assessment for market entities.
Develop a multi-year testing plan covering Group risk pillars.
Prioritize testing activity using risk-based methodologies.
Align testing activity with enterprise risk assessments.
Support second-line control reviews and prepare testing reports for senior management and governance committees.
Define and monitor remediation actions for identified issues.
Enhance tools, metrics, and reporting to inform senior management of risks.
Coordinate integrated assurance across first, second, and third lines of defense.
Collaborate with enterprise testing teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Report findings and track remediation with governance bodies.
