Formación

• Extensive experience in Contract Management functions in EPC energy projects.
• Ability to negotiate in English and German, with other languages as an advantage.

Join us as a Risk Manager and support our project execution within the Business Unit High Voltage. With analytical, hands-on and autonomous approach, you contribute to the successful performance of Risk Management. You are a reliable partner, when it comes to the review of projects, risk assessment, analysis of contracts, contract administration and project execution.

How you’ll make an impact

1. Collaborate with tendering team in Europe ensuring that all the risks have been identified, assessed and mitigated.
2. Monitor the portfolio transition from SF6 to EconiQ ensuring that all risks and related mitigation actions have been taken into account.
3. Monitor and collaborate with tendering teams and operating unit in order to have a proper implementation of F-Gas regulation.
4. Collaborate with Business Unit (BU) Risk Manager in improving HBU risk review process for Europe as a pilot replicable in other Hubs, interacting with Hub Sales Operations and Hub Management to coordinate approval processes.
5. Verify the correct application of FCM/NM approval process at HUB level and make sure that any deviation on NM and provision is escalated at the correct approval level based on HUB/BU instructions.
6. Establish a proper planning for the review and approval of the tenders in pipeline to improve data quality and approval on time.
7. Participate in project reviews, monitoring KPIs and transferring lessons learned from project execution within HUB/Region to new tenders.
8. Educate / provide training on Risk Management and collaborate with other HUB Risk Managers.
9. Work on offshore Cookbook for HV, in collaboration with BU Risk Manager, Contract Management and Renewable Business Developer.
10. Performing the preparation and conduction of risks and opportunities analysis/presentations, preparation of strategy papers, definition of overall project claim strategies.
11. Conducting contract and claims negotiations and settlements together with the project management.
12. General advice and pro-active support project management, site management, procurement/supply department and other project team members in the execution of Customer Contracts, Consortium Agreements, Subcontracts/Supply contracts to secure Hitachi Energy’s contractual rights and entitlements.

Your background

1. Degree in law, business administration or equivalent.
2. Extensive experience in Contract Management functions and processes in project execution of EPC energy projects or similar industrial plants.
3. Contract management, Project Management or Sales Support background.
4. Knowledge about internal Risk Review regulations.
5. Contract Managers with Site Contract Management experience of more than 3 years will be preferred.
6. Experience in working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners.
7. Solid experience change management, claim management and contract-related legal issues and the possible effects in the relevant areas of responsibility regarding proposal stage and/or project execution.
8. Behavior and dealing with foreign cultures (Ethical Conduct).
9. Systematic and structured work style.
10. Ability to negotiate in English and German language. Any other language an advantage.
