The Data & Performance (D&P) organization drives the Company’s agenda to deliver Trust Data @ Scale. It also owns the company’s data security strategy and initiatives to ensure proper data governance.

Aligned with our Code of Conduct, the Trust Charter, and the regulatory landscape, we are seeking an experienced Data Privacy & Security Manager with an innovative, agile, and pragmatic mindset to secure data flows, architecture, bolster regulatory compliance, and future-proof our Data Strategy against existing and emerging threats.

What will you do?

  1. Lead Data Risk management activities, focusing on data privacy and protection, including policy rollout, controls, standards, and maturity measurement.
  2. Manage Data Risk & Security Portfolio initiatives, such as data privacy and protection programs.
  3. Support Data Risk governance topics like risk assessments, privacy reviews, DPIA, data residence, and localization.
  4. Engage with Data Officers & Data Domains, providing guidance and mentorship.
  5. Promote innovation and knowledge exchange on data risk best practices.
  6. Utilize incident, assessment, and audit data to inform strategy.
  7. Provide dashboards for management visibility of data risks.
  8. Ensure compliance with ISO 27701 and drive maturity improvements.
  9. Collaborate internally and externally to achieve objectives.
  10. Develop and deliver training and awareness initiatives.
  11. Guide Business Data Offices to maintain compliance with security, legal, and privacy policies.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Industry-recognized privacy certification (e.g., CIPT, CIPP/E) and/or a university degree.
  • Experience in data security, privacy, or digital topics, including data classification and leakage prevention.
  • Risk assessment and management skills, audit capabilities.
  • Experience developing security policies and collaborating with vendors and business units.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, security, or data access.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in privacy, including privacy reviews.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CIPM) and knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Customer-first, innovative, pragmatic approach.
