OPERATIONS
PRICING STRATEGY
  • Support the implementation of the pricing strategy through all systems and channels.
  • Manage Duetto RMS daily by creating pricing rules to implement the hotel's strategy and audit data accuracy.
  • Ensure proper inventory management, reflecting hotel reality and using overbooking strategies when necessary.
  • Ensure hotels appear correctly across distribution channels, maintaining content parity and quality, reporting errors or improvements.
  • Lead channel management, ensuring correct implementation of market segment pricing strategies.
  • Set up and follow up on daily overbooking decisions.
  • Coordinate promotion and campaign uploads, auditing their display across channels.
  • Identify local events influencing demand and coordinate with the sales team.
  • Verify daily rate positioning considering competitors, demand, and hotel goals.
  • Review and analyze hotel pricing strategies in comparison to competitors and relevant structures.
  • Coordinate with G&E to ensure adherence to pricing guidelines and strategies.
FORECASTING AND BUDGET
  • Enter weekly forecasts accurately within deadlines using platforms like DUETTO, IBR, etc.
  • Assist in creating scenario analyses and group relocation strategies.
  • Input annual budgets into systems, ensuring data accuracy and deadlines.
  • Manage requests and tickets via Jira related to Revenue Management.
  • Monitor market penetration and relevant ratios daily.
  • Observe hotel pricing behaviors using rate shopping tools to identify opportunities.
REPORTING AND DATA ACCURACY
  • Generate and update regular and ad-hoc reports for meetings and analysis.
  • Ensure data accuracy in PMS and internal tools like DUETTO, Melodia, and MHI reports.
  • Alert and report data integrity issues immediately.
DIRECT CHANNEL MANAGEMENT AND PROFITABILITY
  • Prioritize direct sales, especially during high demand periods.
  • Utilize tools to disintermediate OTAs and other commissioned channels.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
  • Understand and comply with brand standards and manuals.
  • Personalize guest experiences, anticipate needs, and exceed expectations.
  • Handle customer incidents, communicate actions taken, and escalate as necessary.
  • Align with Voice of the Customer goals and execute related actions.
  • Support sensory and experiential initiatives in the hotel.
  • Promote hotel services, facilities, and events.
HEALTH & SAFETY / HEALTHY WORKPLACE
  • Know hotel evacuation plans and safety procedures.
  • Use personal protective equipment correctly.
  • Understand work procedures and inherent risks.
  • Follow responsibilities in the Occupational Health and Safety Manual.
REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND TRAINING :

Degree or equivalent in business studies or hotel management. Revenue Management training is a plus.

LANGUAGES :

Local language (depending on location) and advanced English.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE :

  • Knowledge in pricing, performance management, electronic channels, and sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Pivot tables).
  • Knowledge of SAP; Opera is valuable.
  • Understanding hotel operations.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Decision-making ability in absence of manager and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Leadership, proactivity, and initiative.

EXPERIENCE :

At least 1 year as a revenue management executive.
