We are looking for a Retail Training Expert based in Madrid (Head Office) to join our HUGO BOSS team. Permanent contract, 40 hours per week.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Retail Trainer (Team Trainer) 3-5 years.
  • Experience in Fashion Retail Training (Premium or Luxury).
  • 100% availability to travel nationally. Occasionally, there will be international travel to our headquarters in Metzingen.
  • Train the Trainer, capable of training staff within a company.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) C1 or higher. A test will be conducted.
  • Proficiency in Spanish (spoken and written) C1 or higher. A test will be conducted.
  • Good communication skills, empathy, and organizational skills, accustomed to public speaking and learning.
What you can expect:
  • Identify training needs of retail team, measure and evaluate training results, as well as recommend changes to improve training effectiveness.
  • Review, adapt & translate if necessary and prepare training materials in alignment with Global Retail Communications, Training & Development to meet local market needs.
  • Work closely with retail & HR team to implement training plans and to reinforce customer excellence service experience and work in partnership with Global Retail Communications, Training & Development contact person to implement training strategies of the HUGO BOSS University across the market.
  • Coordinate and conduct training of the HUGO BOSS University for all levels of employees such as Retail Academy, customer service & selling techniques, product, train-the-trainer, leadership, digital advisor, etc.
  • Provide timely support and coaching to store teams at all levels.
  • Observe and coach retail employees on the POS to ensure consistently high customer service and behaviors which are demonstrated in all aspects of customer interaction.
  • Monitor and follow-up on trainings to ensure employees are equipped with skills and knowledge to meet retail standards and to ensure applied knowledge will be put into practice (transfer of learning).
  • Maintain training system & records in the LMS. Produce timely & accurate reports to keep track of training effectiveness.
  • Be a role model and provide necessary tools and techniques to make the learner’s life easier.
  • Prepare, deliver and follow-up on training initiatives / Workshops in Spain - 100% willingness to travel.
Your profile:
  • Demonstrated experience in retail - ideally in luxury fashion retail.
  • The ideal candidate is dynamic and has a demonstrated passion for helping others to learn and grow. The candidate is a role model in customer service excellence, quality execution and respectful cooperation. The candidate is flexible enough to work effectively in a team with different personalities, as well as alone.
  • The candidate enjoys continuous learning & strives for personal growth.
  • If applicable, degree holder in training & development or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years solid training and selling experience gained in retail (Preferably upper premium & lifestyle segment).
  • Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills - ability to persuade.
  • Strong organizational skills, structured work approach with attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and independent.
  • Energetic, self-motivated and positive. Strong commitment to customer service.
  • Mature, organized and attentive to details.
  • Fluent in English C1 - Advantage and preferable as a second language (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, solution-oriented approach, effective time management.
  • Self-confident and positive demeanor, engaging personality in an international environment.
