The project!

The goal is to align the product line plan with the global line planning process to achieve or surpass annual financial targets. The Retail Merchandising Specialist ensures the line plan reflects the brand's global vision while meeting regional needs.

What will the role entail?

Sales and inventory analysis

  • Weekly reporting on store sales and stock levels.
  • Analyzing and communicating key performance indicators, best-sellers, slow-movers, and coverage rates.
  • Preparing weekly reviews with Area Managers and Visual Merchandisers to analyze results, implement corrective actions, and plan for major retail periods.
  • Engaging regularly with stores, Area Managers, and Visual Merchandisers.
  • Recommending transfers, highlighting stock-outs or overstocks, and coordinating these actions with the Retail team.

Operational management of supply

  • Allocating purchases to stores based on analyses and field feedback.
  • Defining delivery schedules and timing for initial orders to optimize stock management.
  • Managing supply and restocking during the season, including tools, ordering, and delivery analysis.
  • Collaborating with the purchasing team to manage the assortment of the permanent line, evaluating stock levels and minimums.

Support to purchasing

  • Creating seasonal reports on product performance across the network.
  • Gathering feedback from boutiques regarding quality and quantities received.
  • Supporting Retail Buyers during purchasing periods.
  • Participating in Pre-buy Meetings and providing insights on stock and performance.
