Formación

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain.

The logistics manager will be responsible to coordinate all logistics operations with the 3PL provider and supervise their warehouse operations. Be able to assure the flow of stock to the Iberia B2b (stores) and B2c (e-commerce) Clients. Close cooperation with demand planning, customer service, digital and quality management as well as with finance and compliance.

About the Role

  • Manage B2B (stores) and B2c (ecommerce) logistics operations coordinating with Demand and Supply team. Warehouse Operations : Manage warehouse inventory, keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock and organize destruction of goods with close cooperation with finance and the logistics service provider. Resolve any arising problems or complaints concerning logistics systems. Participate in the implementation of appropriate logistics models that support business strategies, company expansion and cost reduction strategies as well as participating in various projects to expand the company portfolio. Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potential new affiliates and advise of cost implications and efficiency. Invoice verification of transport and storage service providers. Prepare and monitor third party logistics service budget. Assure delivery reception and I-doc errors resolution. Conduct any communication with Customer Care / SCP or Sites related with daily operations activities.

Responsibilities

  • University Degree or equivalent. 5+ years’ experience of working in logistics / purchasing / supply chain / transportation function. C1 English. Very good level of communication with all company departments national and International. Expert knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics such as import / export and customs regulations will be valued. IT systems knowledge and skills including knowledge and understanding of specialist ERP systems such as SAP, as well as experience with warehouse management systems and interfaces to ensure that IT systems in place are effective, appropriately maintained, and accurate. Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of lean techniques will be valued. Expert in office tools. Knowledge of software as SAP or TMS will be a plus. Very desirable if the candidate has experience with logistic part of E-commerce (orders flows & processing, shipping, issues etc). Able to work as a team with multiple departments both national and International : (Finance, Marketing, e-commerce, controlling, operations etc..
