Formación

Join us at the Canary Islands as a Resort Operations Manager as we reopen our newly renovated resort in Spring 2024 and seek a skilled, dedicated, and results-oriented individual to lead our operations.

As our Resort Operations Manager, you will ensure a seamless guest experience, overseeing the smooth operation of all on-site activities. You will coordinate and monitor the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and technical departments. Based in Gran Canaria, you will support Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife and our Hapimag Resort in Marrakesh, Morocco. You will assist with operational and administrative tasks. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing revenue-generating initiatives for various outlets.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the entire resort, including budget creation and goal achievement
  • Manage and develop the Head of Department Management Team and approximately 30 employees
  • Ensure adherence to standards and continuously improve work processes, creating employee schedules
  • Guarantee exceptional customer service
  • Regular resort visits to Puerto de la Cruz and Marrakesh
Qualifications:
  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or bachelor’s degree in hospitality
  • Several years of professional experience in various departments of the industry (especially at the front desk and in gastronomy)
  • Excellent German, Spanish, and English language skills, both written and spoken. French is a big plus.
  • Proficiency in standard IT programs (e.g., MS Office or Google Suite)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Willingness to travel frequently to Tenerife and Marrakesh
