A leading engineering firm in Madrid is seeking a Resident Liaison Officer to represent client interests on-site. The role requires 3 to 5 years of experience in the space sector, expertise in project coordination, and strong communication skills. We are looking for a Resident Liaison Officer – Space Programs on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Madrid, Spain. The scope of the position is to focus on ensuring that our client’s interests, requirements, and expectations are properly represented and safeguarded throughout the program execution.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:

• Act as the permanent onsite representative of our client at the supplier’s premises;

• Monitor and verify the supplier’s progress on all assigned activities, ensuring compliance with project schedules, deliverables, and quality requirements;

• Identify, assess, and escalate potential risks, delays, or issues that could impact project performance.

• Provide structured and regular progress reporting to our client, ensuring transparency and accuracy of information flow;

• Facilitate communication of our client’s requests regarding reviews, updates, and requirement changes to the supplier;

• Serve as the primary interface between our client and the supplier, fostering a professional and collaborative relationship.

• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the space sector is mandatory;

• Proven expertise in project coordination, supplier monitoring, or program management;

• Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting capabilities;

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to represent client interests in a professional and assertive manner;

• Ability to operate independently onsite while maintaining strong alignment with remote client management;

• Fluency in English both written and spoken;

• Proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
