EF Language Abroad is seeking a Residence Advisor for its Malaga Campus. This on-site, live-in role supports international students, ensuring wellbeing and a welcoming atmosphere while working under the Housing Manager.

Responsibilities include check-ins/outs, room quality checks, emergency support, and organizing on-campus activities. Fluency in Spanish and English (B2) is required; working rights in Spain are essential.

Formación

• Fully fluent in Spanish (reading/writing/speaking).
• B2 level English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Eligible to work in Spain with no visa restrictions.
• Experience living, working, or studying abroad is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome students and manage check-ins/outs.
• Inspect rooms and facilities for quality.
• On-call for emergencies prioritizing safeguarding.
• Lead on-campus events and tours for students.
• Assist with daily Accommodation and Student Services tasks.
• Foster clear, positive communication with staff and students.

As a Residence Advisor, you will ensure the well-being and satisfaction of our international students at the EF Language Abroad residences, working full-time under the Housing Manager.

This is an on-site, live-in position with room provided as part of the compensation package.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Welcoming students: Manage check-ins/outs to ensure all students feel at home during their stay.
• Room checks: Inspect and maintain quality standards for rooms and facilities used by students and staff.
• Emergency support: Be on-call to handle all issues as they arise, with safeguarding and student welfare as the top priority.
• Events and Activities: Lead fun on-campus activities, act as a tour guide, and create unforgettable experiences for every student!
• Office hours: Collaborate with your colleagues in Accommodation and Student Services with daily tasks.
• Teamwork: Build strong relationships with staff and students through clear, positive communication.

What We’re Looking For:

• Full fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)
• B2 level English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Full working rights in Spain
• Someone who is approachable and handles challenges with positivity!
• A ‘can-do’ attitude
• Experience living, working, or studying abroad is a plus!
• All additional languages are a plus!
