METT Barcelona invites applications for a Reservations Trainee to begin a professional journey in luxury hospitality. You will support reservations across phone, email, and online channels, assist with guest inquiries, and ensure bookings are accurately entered and updated in the system.

The role offers a 6-month full-time internship in a renowned 5-star hotel, with mentorship, staff meals, and hands-on career-building experiences in a dynamic setting.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, tourism, or business program.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Friendly, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in managing hotel reservations via phone, email, and online channels.
• Support in handling guest inquiries, providing accurate information about rooms, rates, and services.
• Learn how to use reservation systems and booking platforms.
• Help ensure all bookings are correctly entered and updated in the system.
• Assist in coordinating with Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals.
• Learn to manage cancellations, modifications, and special requests.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional communication style.
• Observe and apply hotel standards and procedures in all interactions.

What You Will Learn & Do as a Reservations Trainee:

• Assist in managing hotel reservations via phone, email, and online channels

What are we looking for?

• A current university or school student related to Hospitality, Tourism, or Business
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Friendly, proactive, and eager to learn
• Available for a 6-month full-time internship
• Able to sign a collaboration agreement with your school
• Legally authorized to work in Spain or enrolled in a university approved for internships within the EU
