The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona is seeking a research trainee for the Intracellular Compartmentation lab. The trainee will contribute to the study of unconventional protein secretion in yeast and mammalian tissue culture cells.

Candidates should have a background in cell biology with an interest in trafficking and quality control of secreted proteins, and hold a Master’s degree in biology or related field. Proficiency in English is required.

• Must have experience in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry.
• Eager to learn and work in a collaborative research environment.
• Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, biotechnology, or related field.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the study of unconventional protein secretion in yeast and/or mammalian tissue culture cells.
• Work in the Intracellular Compartmentation lab to understand Grh1/GRASP proteins role.
• Collaborate with team members across disciplines.
