A prestigious university in Spain is looking for a part-time researcher to focus on the fabrication and optical characterization of 2D materials for artificial synapses. The position requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and prior experience in related areas. Proficient knowledge of both Spanish and English is essential. This role offers a monthly salary of €1543.20.

Formación

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Experience in the research of 2D materials and ferroelectric platforms is essential.
  • Excellent proficiency in both Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

  • Fabricate and optically characterize 2D-materials for artificial synapses.
  • Conduct research within the Laser Spectroscopy Group.
  • Engage in international mobility related to the research.

Conocimientos

Knowledge in low-dimensional materials
Experience in ferroelectric materials
Familiarity with nanophotonics
Scientific output

Educación

Offer Description

Part-time position focused on the fabrication and optical characterization of 2D-material / ferroelectric platforms for artificial synapses using optical microscopy and confocal micro-fluorescence. Research will be carried out at the Laser Spectroscopy Group at Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain).

  • Degree in Physics and Master related to Material Sciences, Nanotechnology, Photonics or similar.

Specific Requirements

  • Knowledge and / or prior experience in low-dimensional materials, ferroelectric materials, and nanophotonics.
  • Scientific output in these areas, previous competitive fellowships and contracts, and international mobility will be highly valued.
  • Languages SPANISH Level Excellent

    Languages ENGLISH Level Excellent

    1543,20 € / monthly gross salary
