A leading academic institution in Spain is seeking a part-time First Stage Researcher in Physics. You will develop an algorithm for 3D temperature mapping and work with NIR cameras. The main objective is the development of an algorithm for obtaining a 3D temperature map of an internal organ in a small animal. The candidate is not required to have experience in animal experimentation, as these experiments will be conducted by collaborators at the Faculty of Medicine. The candidate's tasks will include:
Triangulation of NIR cameras and light sources;
Acquisition of hyperspectral images of luminescent samples under tissue;
Training neural networks for the simultaneous determination of the sample's position and temperature;
Verification of the algorithm's accuracy in an animal experiment
Experience in optics and photonics laboratories
Experience with artificial neural networks
Specific Requirements
Demonstrable knowledge of Python, MATLAB, and/or Mathematica
1.221,50 €/monthly gross salary
