ICN2’s Nanomedicine Lab seeks a Research Support Technician to assist group leaders and researchers, enabling efficient experimental work. The role involves hands-on techniques, equipment upkeep, and lab safety, with opportunities to contribute to cross-disciplinary nanomedicine projects.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field; higher qualifications are welcomed. Strong English skills, teamwork, and initiative are essential for success in a collaborative research

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required. Master’s/PhD welcomed for advanced roles.
• Excellent data plotting and statistical analysis with Origin Pro and GraphPad Prism.
• Postgraduate research experience and familiarity with nanomedicine research are valued.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance to the Group Leader and Principal Investigators to enable smooth operation of the Nanomedicine Lab.
• Conduct experimental work using molecular, histological and immunological techniques as agreed with researchers.
• Coordinate procurement, stock management and training for lab staff and students.
• Oversee lab safety, health & safety compliance, and maintain equipment calibration and verification.
• Organise inductions for new researchers and support day-to-day lab activities and project needs.
