A leading research institution in Spain is seeking a First Stage Researcher to explore the innovative use of wearable technology to improve functionality in children with unilateral cerebral palsy. The role involves collaboration with the NEUROcom research group, focusing on experimental evaluations and interventions. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Health Sciences and experience in relevant neurodevelopmental fields. This is a full-time temporary position starting September 1, 2025, with additional training provided.

Formación

Job title: INNOVATIVE USE OF WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY FOR IMPROVING FUNCTIONALITY IN CHILDREN WITH UNILATERAL CEREBRAL PALSY

Research line / Scientific-technical services: Motor control and environment during childhood

Main tasks to be performed:

The selected candidate will collaborate in experimental sessions within the NEUROcom research group, focusing on the functional evaluation of manual ability, Activities of Daily Living, and Participation in children with and without pathology. The work involves applying new technologies in experimental and therapeutic interventions, including interviews with families and focus groups. Training will be provided, especially in data analysis.

Candidates must have a degree in Health Sciences (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Medicine). Experience in neurodevelopmental pathologies, neuroscience, or neurorehabilitation is desirable.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
