La Comisión Europea busca un investigador para la fabricación de células sintéticas dinámicas en el campo de la química. Se espera que el candidato colabore en proyectos que involucren la síntesis de moléculas y la evaluación de sistemas biomiméticos. Es fundamental contar con un grado en Química y experiencia en técnicas de laboratorio como HPLC y microscopía. La posición ofrece un contrato temporal a tiempo completo, con inicio en septiembre de 2025 y una duración de seis meses.

Formación

  • Experiencia demostrada en investigación relacionada con síntesis orgánica.
  • Experiencia en el uso de técnicas como HPLC, NMR y microscopía.
  • Capacidad para fabricar células artificiales.

Responsabilidades

  • Colaborar en la fabricación de células sintéticas dinámicas.
  • Realizar la síntesis y caracterización de moléculas autoensambladoras.
  • Evaluar sistemas celulares artificiales como nanocarreadores moleculares.

Job title : Construction of dynamic synthetic cells

Research line / Scientific-technical services : Biomimetic construction of functional artificial cell

1) Tasks to perform

The candidate selected in this call will collaborate in tasks corresponding to the fabrication of dynamic synthetic cells. In this way, tools and techniques commonly used in the field of supramolecular chemistry and membrane chemistry will be used.

Specifically, the tasks included in this project will be the following :

  • Synthesis and characterization of self-assembling amphiphilic molecules.
  • Study of the self-assembly process of lipid molecules into well-defined compartments.
  • Preparation of highly controllable dynamic cellular biomimetic.
  • Evaluation of artificial cellular systems as molecular nanocarriers.

2) Duration of the contract

From 01 / 09 / 2025 to 28 / 02 / 2026.

3) Justification of the duration of the contract

The duration of the tasks is estimated at 6 months full-time. The development of the research work will include the following stages :

  • Stage 1 (2 months) : synthesis and characterization of non amphiphilic precursors.
  • Stage 2 (2 months) : in situ formation of amphiphilic molecules and study of their self-assembly.
  • Stage 3 (2 months) : generation of delivery systems for targeted cerllular uptake.
  • Academic degree : Bachelor's degree, Graduate or equivalent in Chemistry.

Selection and assessment criteria :

  • Demonstrated experience in research related to organic synthesis. Up to 5 points / month. Maximum : 25 points.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of HPLC, microscopy, NMR, DLS, mass spectrometry and cell culture. Up to 5 points / month Maximum : 25 points.
  • Demonstrated experience in the fabrication of artificial cells. Up to 5 points / month. Maximum : 25 points.
  • Personal interview Maximum : 25 points.
