Una universidad en La Rioja busca un investigador en Ingeniería Mecánica para participar en un proyecto de análisis de movimiento humano en tiempo real. Job title : Capture, reconstruction and neuro-musculoskeletal analysis of human movement in real time, considering muscle fatigue

Research line / Scientific-technical services : Multibody system dynamics

JOB LOCATION AND SCHEDULE : Building of technological workshops, Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering, 9 : 00-14 : 00 and 15 : 00-17 : 00

TASKS TO BE PERFORMED :

The tasks to be performed will consist of providing support in : (i) programming the algorithm for capturing, reconstructing, and analyzing neuromuscular and skeletal movement that is intended to be developed in the project, which includes the calibration phase at the geometric, inertial, and muscular levels (nominal and fatigue parameters); (ii) processing the data collected during the testing and validation of the algorithm indicated.

Specific Requirements

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS :

1. By the deadline for submitting applications and for the duration of the contract, applicants must meet and maintain the following requirements : a) Hold Spanish nationality or any other nationality to which state regulations grant equal rights regarding employment in the Public Administration. b) Possess the required qualifications and meet the rest of the requirements indicated in the call. c) Be sixteen years of age or older and not exceed the maximum mandatory retirement age. d) Possess the functional capacity necessary to perform the functions or tasks described in the report that comprise the object of the contract. e) Not having been dismissed through disciplinary proceedings from any public administration or from the constitutional or statutory bodies of the autonomous communities. Nor must they be subject to absolute or special disqualification from public employment or office by court order, from accessing the corps or rank of civil servants, or from performing duties similar to those they were performing, from which they were dismissed or reinstated. If the applicant is a national of another state, it will be required that the applicant not be disqualified or in an equivalent situation, nor that he or she has been subject to any disciplinary or equivalent sanction that would prevent, in his or her state and under the same terms, access to public employment.

2. The hiring of foreign nationals from non-EU countries, which will be formalized solely for the purpose of carrying out research or technical tasks, will require that they present, at the time of signing the contract, a residence permit and authorization to work for another person, or proof of the existence of a cause for exception to said authorization, in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 4 / 2000, of January 11, on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain and their social integration.

Eligibility criteria

Assessment Criteria :

A. Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Medical Engineering. Maximum 2 points, linear with the average grade.

B. Qualification : Master's degree in Mechanical or Medical Engineering. Maximum 3 points, linear with the average grade.

C. Knowledge of SolidWorks (1 point for each year of use, maximum 2 points), Matlab (1 point for each year of use, maximum 2 points), C++ (1 point for each year of use, maximum 2 points).

D. Knowledge of English : 2 points for C2 level; 1.5 points for C1 level; 1 point for B2 level; 0.5 points for B1 level.

F. Research stays : 1 point per year. Maximum 2 points.

G. Professional experience : 1 point per year of accredited experience. Maximum 5 points.

H. Personal interview : The five candidates with the highest scores will be interviewed. Maximum 5 points. Failure to appear for the interview will result in exclusion of the candidate.

  • Any merit not duly substantiated will not be taken into account, and candidates may be asked for additional supporting documentation if necessary.
