JOB LOCATION AND SCHEDULE : Lab. Chemical Engineering, Fac. Sciences & CICA (10h00-12h30, 16h30-18h00, (Monday - Friday).
CALL DETAILS
Tasks to be performed :
The researcher will conduct research within the BIOENGIN group at UDC. Tasks will consist of studying, in continuous and batch bioreactors, parameters that affect the bioconversion of substrates and contaminants into biofuels or high-value-added bioproducts, for example, proteins, nutraceuticals, fatty acids, caproic acid, biodiesel.
Justification for the contract duration :
The contract duration is sufficient to perform the tasks described.

Eligibility criteria
Criteria and evaluation process :
1.- Bachelor's degree. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or other related fields. The grade will be taken from the academic record and converted out of 30 points.
2.- Master's degree. The grade will be taken from the academic record and converted out of 20 points.
3. Experience in the use of instrumental and laboratory equipment, and in research tasks related to the application. Up to 25 points (0.5 points per month of experience and / or 0.5 points per publication (or similar) related to the call); a minimum of 6 months of experience is required to obtain the maximum score.
4. Knowledge of English (official diplomas). Up to 5 points. C1 or higher 5 points. B2 or equivalent 2.5 points.
5. Personal interview with candidates (optional, in case of score differences of less than 2 points). Up to 20 points.
A waiting list will be created for candidates who are not selected but obtain more than 75 points in the previous phase. A personal interview will be possible, following the same criteria as in the previous phase.
