Lace Lithography is scaling up its team in Barcelona, Spain, seeking engineers or physicists with a PhD or equivalent experience to advance chip lithography technology. The role involves tackling beam physics challenges, collaborating on theory, simulation, and experiments, and mentoring junior members.

Applicants should have strong modeling and programming skills (Python or Julia) and a passion for solving complex physics-engineering problems in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

  • PhD or equivalent level of experience.
  • Experience with electron or ion beams, controlling space charge effects.
  • Experience with modeling.
  • Programming in Python or Julia.

What You’ll Do
  • Solve problems that stand in the way of producing intense monenergetic electron beams.
  • Collaborate across teams on theoretical, simulation, and experimental projects.
  • Produce and maintain high quality documentation and code, as well as review documentation and code written by colleagues.
  • Mentor junior members of the team
Who You Are
  • An engineer or physicist that thrives in a collaborative fast paced environment working on complex, interconnected, and evolving problems. You are excited about solving challenging problems that involve both physics and engineering. You enjoy guiding your solutions from theory to implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD or equivalent level of experience.
  • Experience with electron or ion beams, particularly controlling space charge effects.
  • Experience with modeling.
  • Competency in programming, particularly Python or Julia.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with low energy electron beams.
  • Experience with Hall Effect thrusters or vacuum tube/thermionic valve physics
  • Experience with thermionic emission.
  • Hands on lab experience.
