IREC busca un Gestor de Datos de Investigación para unirse a su Unidad de Desarrollo Corporativo y Transferencia de Tecnología. El candidato ideal debe tener experiencia en gestión de datos y ciencia abierta, además de habilidades de comunicación y trabajo en equipo. Las tareas incluyen la gestión de datos de investigación, apoyo a los investigadores y gestión de repositorios institucionales. Este puesto ofrece una oportunidad única para contribuir a la investigación y la innovación dentro del ámbito científico en Cataluña.

Formación

• Conocimiento de gestión de datos de investigación y producción científica.
• Experiencia con repositorios institucionales.
• Alta competencia en inglés, español y catalán.

Responsabilidades

• Gestionar la recopilación, curaduría y gestión de datos de investigación.
• Apoyar a los investigadores en la elaboración de planes de gestión de datos.
• Gestionar el repositorio institucional y garantizar la conformidad de los datos.

IREC is looking for a Research Data Manager. The professional will be part of the Corporate Development and Technology Transfer Unit and will assume responsibilities for IREC’s research data management, open science and reporting obligations. In particular, position tasks include collection, curation and management of the institute’s research data (datasets, scientific production, KPIs), support researchers in the elaboration of research data management plans (DMP) and open science matters, institutional repository management (ex. Zenodo) and research data reporting (UNEIX, Portal de la Recerca, etc.).

The professional ideally would be skilled and have knowledge of research data management and open science, and the use of specific research management software. Ideally the professional should be familiar with research institutions and the CERCA system. Capacity to work in a team, flexible, goals oriented, innovative, with initiative and problem-solving skills would be valuable. High level of writing, communication and negotiation skills are desired.

Requirements :

• Education in Information and Digital Documentation Management, Data Management, Science, Technology or Engineering.
• Knowledge of research data management and scientific production. Knowledge of research data management software.
• Knowledge of open data and open science matters.
• Experience with institutional repositories (e.g., Zenodo).
• High proficiency of English, Spanish and Catalan languages

Preferred :

• Proven experience using Fundanet software platform.
• Proven experience in research data and scientific production.
• Experience with institutional reporting (UNEIX, PRC)
• Working knowledge of research data management tools and databases.
• Knowledge of the Catalan research system
• Experience in research centres, ideally in CERCA research centres.

The position will be S1 or S2 according to IREC’s career plan, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience.
