The Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Research Associate for its Global Research Organization team in Madrid. In this role, you will conduct secondary research to support BCG’s client work, focusing on the automotive sector. Ideal candidates should have a strong academic background and relevant research interests, particularly in Industry Goods. What You'll Do
As a Research Associate within BCG Vantage's Global Research Organization team, you will form an integral part of our European GRO team. Through the delivery of secondary research, you will contribute to BCG’s client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives.
You will clearly synthesize, package, articulate and deliver your findings in a timely and accurate manner and conduct research on commercial, multi-industry and economic topics. Excellent organizational skills are essential for successfully managing a variety and volume of research requests by accurately summarizing data and facts into appropriate and timely output i.e. email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Along with supporting research products (i.e. news alerts, company profiles etc.), you will also contribute to knowledge capture and documentation. You will ensure delivery of accurate and insight-rich projects with a special focus on Industrial Goods (Automotive). You will gain a strong understanding of a wide range of research resources, information portals and approaches critical to delivering research output for your stakeholders.
Over time, you will regularly engage with seniors in the team to grow your understanding of Industrial Goods, Automotive and Mobility topics (e.g. supply chain strategies, production cost benchmarking, leasing and sales planning) and deliver deeper insights for BCG’s ongoing cases and knowledge products/IPs.
