Una oportunidad emocionante en el INCLIVA Biomedical Research Institute para un Asistente de Investigación en el campo de las ciencias médicas. Trabajarás en proyectos innovadores relacionados con la distrofia miotónica, contribuyendo al análisis y desarrollo de modelos experimentales. Offer Description

The INCLIVA Foundation is a Health Research Institute accredited by the Carlos III Health Institute, part of the public sector of the Generalitat Valenciana, with private legal personality and governed by private law.

A position is announced for a Research Assistant (Laboratory Technician, T2, Level 1, 23T) to work on the project “Characterization of a new therapeutic target in muscle dysfunction in myotonic dystrophy type 1 (File PI21/00311)”, under the supervision of Dr. Manuel Pérez.

Responsibilities include:
  • Technical support in tissue processing from mice, including cryosections, immunofluorescence staining, and quantification of nuclei and muscle fiber characteristics, as well as RNA and protein extraction and analysis.
  • Support in maintaining and expanding a cellular model of myotonic dystrophy, including staining and molecular analyses.
  • Gene expression quantification at RNA and protein levels, and report generation.
  • Mouse genotyping and colony management.
Qualifications

1. Higher-level Vocational Training Cycle or Intermediate-level Vocational Training related to the position (8 points).

2. Relevant training courses (up to 12 points), with points allocated based on course duration.

3. Language skills in English (up to 5 points), with levels from B1 to C2.

4. Professional experience and skills, including experience in animal experimentation, cell culture, histology, RNA and protein analysis, with points awarded accordingly.

Additional Requirements
  • Higher Level Training in Pathological Anatomy Technician (MECES 1, EQF level 5).
  • Ability to perform the functions, certified by a responsible statement.
  • Spanish nationality, work permit, or equivalent.
  • Minimum age 16, no maximum age limit.
  • No legal incompatibilities or disqualifications.
  • Previous employment with INCLIVA must have ended properly.
