Offer Description
The INCLIVA Foundation is a Health Research Institute accredited by the Carlos III Health Institute, part of the public sector of the Generalitat Valenciana, with private legal personality, governed by private law and specific legislation, with applicable public law rules.
A position for Research Assistant (T2) Level 1 Code 23T (Laboratory Technician) is announced to support the project "Preclinical development of oligonucleotides against Musashi-2 : new biomedical impacts and methods of delivery to muscle" (Exp. CIAPOT / 2024 / 012), under the supervision of Dr. Rubén Artero.
Duties
The technician will support tissue preparation and analysis from murine models treated with oligonucleotides, including cryosectioning, immunofluorescent staining, histology, RNA and protein extraction, and detection of oligonucleotides using in situ hybridization and ELISA. They will also handle cellular models of myotonic dystrophy, perform gene expression experiments, and contribute to oligonucleotide delivery strategy evaluations in cell culture, including flow cytometry. Additionally, they will manage laboratory logistics and records.
