Offer Description

The @ PlantDynamics Laboratory is seeking a motivated and talented Programmer with a degree in Computer Science or similar, to join our dynamic, young, and international team. Our mission is to develop next-generation seamless simulators for organs.

As part of this project, you will contribute to developing a cutting-edge computational platform for modeling plant organs in 4D, leveraging ultra-fast GPU-powered simulations. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with leading laboratories worldwide to create and refine computational models that illuminate the mechanisms behind organ growth and morphodynamics.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a background in data integration in biology.
  • Experience in programming (ideally in C#, and C++).
  • Additional experience in image analysis (preferred but not mandatory).
Responsibilities
  • Develop 4D simulation engine for organ growth and development.
  • Collaborate closely with experimentalists in our lab and an international network of leaders in related fields.
What We Offer
  • A full-time position for 1 year with the possibility for extension (37.5 hours per week).
  • Salary approximately 25k per year.
  • Anticipated start date: June / July 2025.
  • A vibrant and collaborative work environment with opportunities to learn unconventional experimental techniques, including lab-on-a-chip technology and advanced microscopy methods.
