Research Assistant in Data Science / Management / Economics

Assisting in applied economics/management research on sustainability, inequality, and strategy. Construction & analysis of datasets. Applied machine learning. Text mining.

You will work with two Professors from the Strategic Management department: May-Anne Very (50%) and Prof. Marta Elvira (50%).

The position is ideal for a recent university or Masters graduate looking to develop their research skills in economics and management research in view of applying for a PhD program. It will provide the candidate with great preparation for PhD program entry by training the applicant in doing research and developing a relationship with potential letter writers.

Requisitos:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• Knowledge of Stata or R or Python, and willingness to learn required.
• Work-permit in Spain.
• High level of spoken and written English.

Conditions

Full-time position

1,830 euros / month before tax

Start date

Fall 2025

End date

1 year, with the possibility of extending.
