Una universidad está buscando un asistente de investigación para el proyecto SE4GenAI. Se requiere un título en ingeniería informática y un buen nivel de inglés. La posición incluirá estudiar y desarrollar herramientas para sistemas de software que incorporen capacidades de inteligencia artificial generativa. Se ofrece un contrato temporal de tiempo completo con un inicio esperado en junio de 2025.

Formación

• Licenciatura o máster en ingeniería informática o cualificación relacionada.
• Nivel de inglés deseado B2 (oral y escrito).
• Experiencia profesional en desarrollo de software valorada.

Responsabilidades

• Estudiar técnicas de IA generativa aplicadas al desarrollo de software.
• Desarrollar métodos y herramientas para mejorar la calidad en el desarrollo de software.
• Coordinar equipos interdisciplinarios para evaluar la efectividad de soluciones tecnológicas.

Offer Description

We are looking for a research assistant for the IN3 project Software Engineering Methods and Tools for Systems Incorporating Generative Artificial Intelligence.

The aim of the project is to provide methods and tools to support the development of software systems incorporating GenAI capabilities. To this end, SE4GenAI will build on existing tools and the state of the art in GenAI development and propose new approaches.

Responsibilities

• Study generative artificial intelligence techniques and their application in software development or collaborative work contexts.
• Conceptualise methods and algorithms to improve software development, focused on the quality assurance of software systems and the reduction of software development, monitoring and maintenance effort.
• Develop prototypes, tools and services that implement the techniques proposed.
• Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate technological solutions in real contexts, as well as evaluating and monitoring their effectiveness and impact.
• Publish research results in journals and conferences of international prestige.

A temporary employment contract will be made until 31 December 2026 on a full-time basis, with an expected start in June.

The reference headquarters will be located at 22@, Rambla del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona. However, at the UOC we work with an open work model that combines teleworking with face-to-face work, depending on organisational needs and the nature of the tasks.

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or related qualification.
• Good level of English in oral and written communication (B2 level).
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
