Job Description Summary

ABOUT THE ALIRA HEALTH CONSULTING TEAM

Alira Health Consulting Division is an integrated team of approximately 200 consultants specializing in healthcare, capable of leading and executing a wide range of assignments, including Local and Global Market Access, Pricing, Brand Strategy, and New Product Differentiation for clients in Pharma, Diagnostics, MedTech, and Digital Health Solutions (DHS). Within this division, a team of about 30 professionals focuses on Brand Strategy and New Product Planning for Pharmaceutical Companies. We are seeking a Europe-based Partner to expand our practice into additional European markets.

Examples of assignments by this team include:

  • New Product Planning: Differentiating therapies in early development, informing stage gate decisions, understanding pipeline insights, and conducting market analytics.
  • Brand Strategy: Developing long-term brand plans, responding to market changes, segmentation analytics, and forecasting ROI.
  • Medical Affairs: Establishing scientific leadership, creating evidence plans, and engaging patients effectively.

THE PARTNER ROLE

The Partner leads the Consulting Division, driving practice development using their expertise, network, and leadership skills. They contribute to Alira Health's growth by assessing market needs, proposing new offerings, and supporting corporate initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive revenue and profit margins, leveraging a strong network of pharmaceutical clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives, identify strategic needs, and develop business initiatives.
  • Contribute to corporate development through due diligence, transversal offerings, and brand development.
  • Represent Alira Health at industry events and marketing campaigns.
  • Generate new business leads within Consulting Practice.
  • Provide thought leadership and foster innovation within the firm.
  • Mentor and develop talent, support recruitment, onboarding, and career growth.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring quality and client satisfaction, and connect teams internally and externally to maximize relevance and opportunities.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years in strategy consulting, mainly with pharmaceutical clients.
  • Industry experience with a successful career to at least Executive Director level in Pharma functions like Brand Marketing or Medical Affairs.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation with top pharmaceutical clients.
  • Graduate degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or Engineering; PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred for Medical Affairs roles.
  • Deep expertise in oncology, hematology, or immunology.
  • International management experience in complex organizations.
  • Recognition as an expert in healthcare subsegments or disease areas.
  • Experience working with C-level and senior executives.
