Job Description Summary

ABOUT THE ALIRA HEALTH CONSULTING TEAM

Alira Health Consulting Division is an integrated team of approximately 200 consultants specializing in healthcare, capable of leading a broad range of assignments, from Local and Global Market Access and Pricing to Brand Strategy and New Product Differentiation for Pharma, Diagnostics, MedTech, and Digital Health Solutions clients. Within this division, a team of about 30 professionals focuses on Brand Strategy and New Product Planning for pharmaceutical companies. We are seeking a Europe-based Partner to expand our practice into additional European markets.

Examples of assignments include:

  • New Product Planning: Differentiating therapies in early development, informing stage gate decisions, understanding pipeline insights, and conducting business assessments.
  • Brand Strategy and Analytics: Developing long-term brand plans, responding to market changes, segment analytics, and forecasting ROI.
  • Medical Affairs: Establishing scientific leadership, creating evidence plans, and engaging with patients and healthcare professionals.

THE PARTNER ROLE

The Partner leads the Consulting Division, driving practice development, leveraging expertise and networks, and contributing to corporate growth. The role involves market assessment, proposing new offerings, and representing Alira Health externally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Development: Maintain a strong network of pharma clients, build relationships with senior executives, define initiatives, and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide intellectual leadership, foster innovation, represent the practice in cross-team projects, and develop talent within the team.
  • Project Execution: Leverage expertise to improve client success, lead execution teams, ensure quality and satisfaction, and identify new business opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years in strategy consulting or senior industry roles within pharma, with a track record of revenue generation.
  • Graduate degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or Engineering; medical degrees preferred for Medical Affairs roles.
  • Deep expertise in therapeutic areas like oncology, hematology, or immunology.
  • International experience and senior management exposure.

TECHNICAL & SOFT SKILLS

  • Passion for healthcare challenges, influence, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Effective prioritization, entrepreneurial mindset, relationship-building, analytical, leadership, and people management skills.
