Job Description Summary

ABOUT THE ALIRA HEALTH CONSULTING TEAM

Alira Health Consulting Division is an integrated team of approximately 200 consultants specializing in healthcare, capable of leading, managing, and executing a broad range of assignments, including Local and Global Market Access, Pricing, Brand Strategy, and New Product Differentiation for Pharma, Diagnostics, MedTech, and Digital Health Solutions (DHS) clients. Within this division, a team of about 30 professionals focuses on Brand Strategy and New Product Planning for pharmaceutical companies. We are seeking a Europe-based Partner to expand our practice into additional European markets.

Examples of assignments by this Pharma New Product and Brand Strategy team include:

  • Driving new product differentiation for transformative therapies in early development stages.
  • Informing stage gate decisions (e.g., progressing to Phase 3).
  • Understanding pipeline insights and their strategic implications.
  • Developing business strategies and conducting product assessments.
  • Creating operating and long-term brand plans for leading medicines.
  • Responding to market changes with competitive strategies.
  • Analyzing HCP/patient segmentation and forecasting marketing ROI.
  • Providing Medical Strategy to establish scientific leadership and accelerate patient access.
  • Creating integrated evidence plans and prioritizing medical evidence investments.
  • Developing patient engagement and voice strategies.
  • Enhancing scientific communications and medical engagement execution.

THE PARTNER ROLE

The Partner leads the Consulting Division, responsible for practice growth, leveraging expertise, network, and leadership skills. They contribute to corporate growth by assessing market needs, proposing, and implementing relevant offerings within and beyond the practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving revenue and managing top-line and profit margins. The Partner will:
  • Business Development / Corporate Initiatives:
  • Leverage an existing network of pharmaceutical clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives, anticipating strategic needs.
  • Define and lead business development initiatives, acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Contribute to corporate development activities, including due diligence and strategic positioning.
  • Represent Alira Health at industry events and campaigns.
  • Generate leads within the practice on transversal topics.
  • Thought Leadership:
  • Provide intellectual leadership, fostering innovation.
  • Represent the practice in cross-team projects and coordinate transversal teams.
  • Develop and mentor team members, supporting their career growth.
  • Support talent acquisition and team development strategies.
  • Project Execution / Billability:
  • Apply deep expertise to improve client success in areas like Product Planning, Brand Strategy, and Medical Affairs.
  • Lead execution teams with final decision-making authority to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
  • Connect internal teams and client initiatives to identify new opportunities.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years in strategy consulting, mainly with pharmaceutical clients.
  • Experience in industry with progression to senior roles like Executive Director in areas such as Brand Marketing, Medical Leads, or Portfolio Strategy.
  • Proven revenue generation with top pharmaceutical clients.
  • Graduate degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or Engineering; PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred for Medical Affairs roles.
  • Deep expertise in oncology, hematology, or immunology.
  • International management experience in complex organizations.
  • Recognition as an industry or disease-specific expert.
  • Experience engaging with C-level and senior executives.
