Offer Description

We are seeking a research assistant for the ChildTech Lab at the UOC's Digital Transformation, AI and Technology Research Unit. The project studies children's learning behaviors with interactive devices and peer influence, aiming to advance knowledge about digital learning and child development using ethical, multimodal methodologies with preschool children.

Responsibilities include data collection and processing with children under six in nursery schools, supporting research within the Ramón y Cajal line. The position is full-time, temporary for 3 months, starting 15 September, based at Rambla del Poblenou, Barcelona, with flexible teleworking options.

Minimum Requirements
  • PhD or Master’s in a social science field (e.g., Psychology, Education)
  • At least 2 years of research experience
  • Experience with children under 6 years old
  • Basic office automation skills
  • Knowledge of video editing software (Final Cut or similar) is a plus
  • Research methodology and ethics knowledge
  • Fluency in Catalan and Spanish
  • Knowledge of UOC’s educational model is desirable
