Introduction to the vacant position :

The Biomimetic systems for cell engineering Group is looking for a Research Assistant to assist the ongoing research projects of the group, particularly in the fabrication of hydrogel-based 3D models of cancer vascular microenvironment and cell culture activities. The ideal candidate will have a MSc degree with experience in the topic

Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving :

  • Preparation and assembly of hydrogel-based 3D models of cancer vascular microenvironment
  • Perform cell culture and endpoint reading experiments
  • Microscopy characterization
  • Data acquisition and analysis
  • Writing manuscripts and presentations

Requirements for candidates :

  • MSc in Biology, Biomedicine or equivalent
  • Experience in biofabrication and cell culture
  • Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
  • Adaptability and willingness to support the diverse needs of the team
  • Excellent level of English

  • Full-time 6 months contract
