Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions? Checkpoint Systems is looking for a Requirements Analyst to join our team in A Coruña (Spain), supporting key onboarding projects and strategic accounts across Spain.
Requirements Analyst
The Requirements Analyst has a bridging role between Business and IT, handling multiple onboarding projects and operational activities simultaneously and delivering them within the time frame of customer expectation.
Operating in a dynamic technological environment focused on the design and implementation of online ordering and print software systems, you will also provide functional IT support and monitor the quality of delivered solutions.
Accuracy is of utmost importance throughout the workday.
Core Objectives
• Work with customers, sales teams, and other relevant stake holders to identify requirements, verify consistency, feasibility and resolve stakeholder conflicts.
• Create requirements specification documents with sufficient detail for the IT Development and Retailer Integration teams to efficiently start the development process.
• Be actively involved in the process of prioritizing, planning and distribution of work items as well as ensuring that the request backlog is transparent, kept up-to-date and provided with estimates.
• Provide or assist in scoping, conceptualization and planning as well as coordinating IT project activities and ensure stakeholders are kept informed on planning and progress.
• Ensure new customer developments are properly tested and data is correctly integrated on labels.
• Coordinate and assist in the release process and support lifecycle.
• Provide functional IT support to customers and the internal organization, where required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Software systems / relevant area
• Advanced functional knowledge of systems, especially in databases, websites and printing solutions.
• Skill and experience of 3 years (minimum) in IT Project management (Project workbench, Microsoft Project, Devops, Team foundation server etc.) and experience of dealing with Stake holders / colleagues from different countries and cultural backgrounds.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and influential skills, both written and verbal in Spanish and English.
• Proven track record of gathering requirements and translating them into functional requirements.
