We are seeking a professional to take responsibility for Reporting, Accounting, and Compliance, reporting to the Fund & Investment Manager and the Chief Financial Officer. This role will also provide support for asset management functions, focusing on financial and performance reporting for a portfolio of assets.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting, Accounting, Compliance and Planning
- Collaborate with outsourced accounting and tax teams to complete month-end processes, consolidated financial reporting, and management and performance reporting.
- Review and coordinate accounting entries, accruals, and standing journals to ensure accurate month-end closings.
- Prepare consolidated accounts and monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) under IFRS.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation.
- Prepare year-end statutory financial statements, including individual and consolidated accounts.
- Support preparation of annual tax filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors.
- Prepare payment runs for approval and perform bank reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset registers.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and related party transactions.
- Work closely with team members to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
- Participate in annual budgeting, monthly variance reporting, cash forecasting, full-year reforecasts, and CAPEX reviews.
- Assist with continuous improvement in systems, reporting, processes, and automation.
Investment Management and Corporate Finance
- Support senior management in overseeing European investments, including lease compliance and KPI calculations.
- Assist in preparing periodic board reports in coordination with external advisors.
- Liaise with external valuers to ensure timely and accurate valuations.
- Calculate and monitor banking covenants.
- Maintain systems and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with policies and agreements.

Qualifications
- CPA or CFA qualified.
- Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm experience highly valued.
- 6+ years of broad professional experience.
- High proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Power BI.
- Forecasting and financial modeling skills.
- Exposure to transaction work and familiarity with fund management or agricultural sectors is a plus.
