X-ELIO, a Brookfield-owned global renewable energy leader, seeks a Procurement & Contracts Engineer in Madrid. You will support strategic procurement and contract management across international projects, collaborating with Engineering, Development and Finance teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Around 2+ years of professional experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy.
• Experience with multidisciplinary project environments and stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong reporting capabilities.
• Experience with procurement processes, tenders, contracts or EPC projects is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Support procurement activities within international renewable energy projects across the full lifecycle.
• Coordinate tender processes (RFP/RFQ), bidder communication, clarification, evaluation and supplier selection for EPC, BOP, BESS, equipment and service contracts.
• Review engineering documentation and supplier proposals to support evaluations and procurement recommendations.
• Assist in preparation and negotiation of EPC, BOP, BESS, Substation and O&M agreements; analyze deviations and risks.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance and internal stakeholders on contract reviews and strategies.
• Monitor procurement milestones and support project teams during execution.
• Develop relationships with strategic suppliers and conduct qualification meetings and performance monitoring.
• Contribute to procurement process improvements and adoption of digital tools including AI.
