Job summary

RWE Renewables Iberia S.A.U. is offering an internship in Barcelona for real-time control room operations of wind and solar assets. You’ll learn from experienced operators, monitor assets via SCADA, analyse performance data and assist with incident and work-order handling.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in KPI reporting, data tools, and cross‑functional collaboration across Europe while developing skills in renewable asset operation and digitalisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or related field.
• Eligible to sign an university internship agreement with the company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Power BI and SQL; MATLAB a plus.
• Interest in renewable energy and Control Centre operations.
• Fluency in Spanish and a good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wind and solar assets through SCADA and Control Room applications.
• Collect, analyse and report operational data using KPIs.
• Support turbine performance analysis and operational reporting.
• Assist in alarms, incidents, work orders and events management.
• Collaborate with operators and teams to support daily operations.
• Develop and improve reporting tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives.
