RWE Renewables Iberia S.A.U. in Barcelona offers an internship in the Control Room Operations team, focused on real-time monitoring and operation of wind and solar assets in Spain.

You will learn from experienced operators and support daily operations, alarms management, and performance reporting. The role requires enrollment in a bachelor's or master's in engineering or data analytics, fluent Spanish and strong English, and a curricular or extracurricular internship agreement.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Energy, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Eligible to sign a university internship agreement (curricular or extracurricular internship) with the company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Power BI and SQL (knowledge of MATLAB or programming is a plus).
• Interest in renewable energy, SCADA systems and Control Centre operations.
• Fluency in Spanish and a good level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitoring wind and solar assets through SCADA and Control Room applications.
• Collecting, analysing and reporting operational and performance data using KPIs.
• Supporting the Operations team with turbine performance analysis and operational reporting.
• Assisting in the management of alarms, incidents, work orders and operational events.
• Collaborating with Control Room operators and cross-functional teams to support daily operations.
• Developing and improving reporting tools.
• Participating in continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives within the Control Room.
