Formación

  • 4+ años de experiencia en la industria del petróleo y gas, preferiblemente con un mayor integrado.
  • Conocimiento de gestión operativa de sostenibilidad y productos renovables es un plus.

About the business

We are pursuing a transformative strategy agenda called “Positive Motion“ which is all about greening our sources of revenue. Within this context, Trading competencies are essential to optimize the value from both legacy hydrocarbons and the future molecule flows. It is Trading’s task to maximize value by growing and leveraging the platform. We are actively looking for top talent to join the Trading Operations Team. This team ensures seamless coordination of all commercial and operational activities related to trading and supply, ensuring that the best commercial decisions can be made and executed efficiently daily. You´ll execute all renewable products blending and proofs of sustainability management and mass balance per inventory.

The responsibilities we´ll trust you with

  • Manage the operational lifecycle of sale and purchase agreements.
  • Timely nominate cargoes, prepare documentation instructions, and proofs of sustainability.
  • Organize and oversee the logistics of deals, including freight/hire/demurrage collection, vetting and charterers’ approval, and tank management.
  • Monitor lifting operations to ensure quantity and quality adhere to agreed terms, in collaboration with appointed cargo inspectors. Investigate outturn losses and understand demurrage implications.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contractual agreements and our commercial position in relation to third-party term contracts.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of purchase and sale operations to ensure all contractual obligations are met and to anticipate potential risks.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the front-to-back process, leveraging valuable data and information to maximize commercial value.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for operational issues.
  • Oversee sustainability documentation, including proofs of sustainability (ISCC, Nabisy, etc.) and mass balance management, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and control.
  • Advise on renewable product blending capabilities and quality management.

What are we looking for?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Degree in Economics, Commerce, Chemical Engineering, etc. - Valuable Masters in Sustainable Management and/or Business Administration.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferably with an integrated major, trader, refinery, or associated servicer (surveyor, storage terminal).
  • Relevant renewable products operational expertise, including sustainability operational management, would be a plus.
  • Understanding of all aspects of the physical trade (incoterms, shipping, legal, terminal operations etc.).
  • ETRM software familiarity.
  • Spanish and English high level required, valuable other languages.
  • Analytically inclined with high energy, approaching challenges strategically.
  • Collaborative team player thriving in a team-based environment.
  • Effective relationship builder with a focus on business development.
  • Passionate about creating value in trading and financial markets.
  • Self-starter with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective planner and organizer, working towards ambitious targets.
  • Possesses deal lifecycle ownership, commercially astute for margin optimization.
