Moeve is seeking an experienced trading operations professional to manage the lifecycle of energy sale and purchase agreements and coordinate blending of renewable feedstocks. The role involves nominating cargoes, handling documentation, and overseeing logistics to maximize value and ensure compliance with sustainability criteria.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in the oil and gas sector, strong Spanish and English, and a track record in blending, incoterms, and terminal operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's or degree in Economics, Commerce, Chemical Engineering, etc. Masters in Sustainable Management/IBM/Business Administration valued.
• 3-4 years of oil and gas experience.
• Knowledge of feedstock and FAME quality parameters and blending logic.
• Fluency in Spanish and English at high level.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the operational lifecycle of sale and purchase agreements.
• Nominate cargoes timely, prepare documentation and proofs of sustainability.
• Organize logistics of deals including freight, demurrage, vetting, and tank management.
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure quality/quantity per terms with inspectors.
• Blend feedstocks and FAMEs to meet specs while optimizing cost and value.
• Coordinate with terminals and refineries on blend ratios and traceability.
• Maintain understanding of contracts and our position with third-party term contracts.
• Provide regular updates on purchase/sale operations and risk expectations.
• Ensure front-to-back process smoothness using data to maximize value.
• Serve as SME for operational issues and advise on renewable blending capabilities.

About the business

Within this context Trading competencies are essential to optimize the value from both legacy hydrocarbons and the future molecule flows. It is Trading's task to maximize value by growing and leveraging the platform.

The responsibilities we ́ll trust you with

• Manage the operational lifecycle of sale and purchase agreements.
• Timely nominate cargoes, prepare documentation instructions, and proofs of sustainability.
• Organize and oversee the logistics of deals, including freight/hire/demurrage collection, vetting and charterers' approval, and tank management.
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure quantity and quality adhere to agreed terms, in collaboration with appointed cargo inspectors. Investigate outturn losses and understand demurrage implications.
• Manage the blending of feedstocks and FAMEs of varying qualities and origins (e.G. UCOME, RME, PME, tallow-based FAME, among others), ensuring final products meet required specifications (density, CFPP, iodine value, sulphur content, etc.) while optimizing cost and value.
• Coordinate with terminals and refineries to plan blend ratios, monitor tank compatibility, and ensure traceability of blended volumes for sustainability and quality purposes.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contractual agreements and our commercial position in relation to third‑party term contracts.
• Provide regular updates on the status of purchase and sale operations to ensure all contractual obligations are met and to anticipate potential risks.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the front‑to‑back process, leveraging valuable data and information to maximize commercial value.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for operational issues.
• Advise on renewable product blending capabilities, feedstock quality variability, and specification compliance.

What are we looking for?

• Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Degree in Economics, Commerce, Chemical Engineering, etc. -Valuable Masters in Sustainable Management and/or Business Administration
• At least 3-4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Relevant renewable products operational expertise, including sustainability operational management, would be a plus.
• Knowledge of feedstock and FAME quality parameters and blending logic.
• Understanding of all aspects of the physical trade (incoterms, shipping, legal, terminal operations etc.)
• Spanish and English high level required, valuable other languages.
